Policy Planning and Submissions

Preparing plan changes to statutory documents or responding to them through the submission and hearing process as set out in the RMA.

My role is to assist Council’s in their preparation of new statutory policy statements or plans, the supporting evaluations and hearing process. Alternatively, I can assist interested stakeholders involve themselves in these statutory processes through the preparation of submissions.

TYPICAL SCENARIOS

Policy work and submissions are part of a much larger public participation process to build the right statutory planning documents for a locality. I can help Council’s with the preparation of statutory planning documents or help individuals prepare private plan changes for Councils to consider or alternatively help those who want to submit a submission on these publicly notified proposals.
